Toni Crowder

Renowned vocalist and pianist Toni Crowder’s passionate and energetic "Feel the Love" concert fuses her classical training and love for rich jazz harmonies to create original compositions, fresh renditions of popular tunes, and opera arias with a twist.

 

Toni has captivated live audiences in America, Europe, and the Middle East as well as on a variety of radio and television broadcasts. Notable appearances include NPR's “Performance Today” (NPR), Opera Fest of New Hampshire, and Georgetown University's Chamber Orchestra. The Washington Post once described her live performance as full of “vigor and excitement.”

 

A former Artist-in-Residence with the Virginia Commission of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, Toni also served on the voice faculty at Randolph-Macon College. She is the co-author of 2023's best-seller The Mindfulness of Singing; Creating a Harmonious Mind, Body, and Spirit. Most recently, she studied, meditated, and performed in Italy and India pursuing her discipline of mindfulness in singing.
